DBELL beverage team uses state-of-the-art analytical tools for evaluation of both the ingredients and the RTD products.

We continuously challenge ourselves to learn more about and to understand how raw materials and ingredients interact.

Facilities
Danisco's beverage facilities include:

  • analytical equipment
  • modern library with online search facilities
  • pilot plant
Danisco's analytical equipment includes:
  • GC/MS, to identify and quantify molecules that impart a specified flavour profile
  • SPOS, for the objective measurement of the average particle size
  • CO2 analyser, to quantify carbonation level of CSD
  • advanced osmometer, for the objective measurement of sport drink osmolality
  • rheology, for the viscosity measurement of emulsion oil blend and RTD
  • oxygen analyser, to quantify dissolved oxygen content in packaged beverage
